Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
It didn’t take long for Dr. Rudd to realize that dentistry was the ideal fit for his strengths and passions. He thinks it’s the perfect combination of science, healthcare, technology, and art. As a very detail-oriented person who loves working with his hands, he finds the work extremely fulfilling every single day. And of course, he has God to thank, who created him to serve this valuable role in the local community and make a positive difference in people’s lives.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Rudd’s educational journey started at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AR, where he played NAIA collegiate soccer. After the completion of his undergraduate degree, he pursued his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. He stayed at the school to complete a General Practice Residency as well. Today, he regularly pursues continuing education opportunities in order to further expand his clinical skills and stay up to date with the latest developments in the oral healthcare field. He is certified in laser dentistry and has advanced training in dental implant/restoration and cosmetic dentistry as well.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Rudd and his wife Julie have been married since 2000, and they have three sons named Keller, Creston, and Quinn. Outside of working hours, most of his free time is spent with his loved ones. He is also very involved with their church, which is the First Baptist Church of Mansfield. Other personal hobbies include running and traveling. He also feels very lucky to have had the opportunity to join several dental mission trips, serving underserved populations in other countries like Venezuela and India. Looking ahead to the future, he hopes to participate in many more!
