Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Sadkin says she’s always wanted to be a dentist for as long as she can remember. She also always had a mixed passion for both art and science—which is exactly what dentistry allows her to make the most of. Growing up and falling in love with the career, she wanted to change the stigma that people have about the dentist while making it a more positive experience for others. She initially considered specializing in orthodontics before deciding on a more generalized route.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
After graduating with her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, Dr. Sadkin went on to attend the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She also completed her AEGD Residency at the Western New York Veterans Affairs Hospital. She’s also certified in Invisalign and SureSmile. Other than remaining dedicated to continuing education to expand her knowledge and techniques, she is also a member of several professional organizations, including the:
- American Dental Association
- Texas Dental Association
- Academy of General Dentistry
- Seattle Study Club
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Other than hanging out with loved ones, she loves cooking, baking, traveling, walking around Dallas, and exploring DFW food scenes. One fun fact about her is that she’s been on two dental mission trips to the Dominican Republic!
